Thermal Imaging Camera - A Thermal Imaging Camera is a type of camera first used in firefighting. By rendering heat as visible light, such cameras would allow firefighters to see areas of heat through smoke, darkness, or heat-permeable barriers. Thermal imaging cameras are typically handheld, Today paranormal investigators have adapted these expensive cameras into tools to see hot and cold spots on investigations. These cameras have turned some fantastic evidence as well as helped debunk cold spots by showing leaks in air ducts.
Orb -An orb is a ball of energy that can be seen of film. This does not mean it's a ghost or that the place is haunted but it can show energy that is drawn to help a ghost manifest. Orbs are completely round, usually change direction, are completely solid, emit their own light and are not usually found after something in the room moves. As said before we do not consider orbs proof of paranormal activity.
Infrared - Infrared (IR) is electromagnetic radiation of a wavelength longer than that of visible light, but shorter than that of radio waves. The name means "below red. We use cameras equipped with IR LED's and camcorders with night shot that can see at that level. It allows us to basically see in the dark. These tools are wonderful in out line of work.
Full Spectrum Video Instruments - A full spectrum video instruments can see not only infrared but also ultraviolet wavelengths which are also outside of the visible range of sight. Ultraviolet wavelengths are on the opposite end of infrared making them a shorter wavelength. By combining both UV and IR you can see even more detail.
Electronic Voice Phenomenon - Electronic voice phenomenon is a term used to refer to sounds or voices that are captured on recorded media or other electronic devices that are not heard at the time of recording. Sometimes these can answer questions that are asked. This is an intelligent type of interaction. Most EVP's are residual. There is nothing intelligent about them and will happen if you are there or not.
